Field of application: electric energetics.
The essence of innovation:
- forecast of security of energy system by indicators of electric energy quality.
- energy system security and stability by impact of background and industrial noise (electromagnetic terrorism).
- loss enhancement in energy system.
- commercial quality of electric energy (price of electric energy is determined by its quality).
Efficiency of the technology:
According to results of monitoring of energy system in the USA and Canada, more than 30% of downtime is provoked by problems with energy quality. The corresponding data for the EU accounts for more than 40%.
Aggregate losses in the EU due to low quality of electric energy comprise 150 billion Euro annually.
In Russia (data by Moscow Energy Institute) integral estimate of losses due to lowering of energy quality accounts for 15-25%.
Control engineer level (acquiring detailed information)
Review of detailed information on every aspect of system functioning, like diagrams of all measured and counted parameters and extensive protocols of measurements, all events (exceeding of parameters’ norms) happening in the object, is possible.
Software installed on a work place and web-interface are available, as well as informing on emergency through SMS, IM (jabber, ICQ), e-mail.
Usage of system of instant messaging and gateways from IM to other networks (SMS, e-mail, ICQ) make it possible to react promptly to emergencies.
Proryv system allows limit the access to information resources by keys and passwords. The information transmitted between the system and a user is encoded with strong algorithm, preventing access of outsiders to the data. Web version (http) allows access from any device with internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Konqueror) to the system server and get needed information on the system status.
Manager (acquiring of summary data)
Manager receives ready reports for the examined period and if necessary can look through visual interpretation of the data (diagrams of interested parameters).
Installed software and web interface are available.
Consumer level (low load/ dump/ power surges)
A consumer gets data on parameters which may bring him losses.
Web interface is available, as well as integration into a desk top.
Integration into a desk top using such applets as (serious) Samurise, Dashboard, (super) Karamba, Plazma, GDesklets, Conky, makes it possible to carry out supervision of objects’ conditions, watching diagrams on a screen of a computer.
Estimated amount of investment:
Setting up of a pilot project of automatic information and measuring system of electric energy security, related to its quality, in the Republic of Karelia (precisely 500 points of account) is to estimate at nearly 100 million RUR with return period of up to 5 years.

NPV (net present value, 14% discount rate) – 201,600 thousand RUR
IRR (internal rate of return) - 42 %
