Project description: Integration of produced modules into systems of water and air disinfection. The modules are worked out in line with the technology of ultraviolet disinfection, the advantages of which are:
• Absence of toxic compounds and no change of physic and chemical composition of water;
• Easy exploitation and no need in specific security measures;
• High efficiency and economical operation: the expenses are comparable with the expenses on chlorine treatment;
• Possibility to use on treatment plants with capacity of from 1 up to several million cubic meters of water per day.
The main advantage of flux-gate ultraviolet lamps over existing Russian and foreign analogues is significantly prolonged lifespan. Lifespan of competitive analogues is 8,000-12,000 hours. Production technology of electrodeless flux-gate lamps provides not less than 20,000 hours long lifespan. Hence, total operating costs within equipment service life decreases more than twice in comparison to existing analogues.
Basic characteristics of the project:
• lifespan of ultraviolet lamp is 20,000-100,000 hours
• no negative effects after disinfection
• nontoxicity for the human
• plant productivity is from 0.5 up to 5000 cubic meters per hour
• lamp power is 50, 200, 500 W
Field of application:
• systems of household and drinking central and individual water supply;
• systems of water treatment for swimming pools, water parks;
• food productions;
• treatment plants of sewage and effluent waters;
• ventilating and conditioning systems;
• construction enterprises;
• individuals, living in private residences.
Marketing forecast:
Demand of the national economy for water treatment plants accounts for precisely 20,000 million cubic meters. This means demand for treatment plants of aggregate capacity of 55 million cubic meters per day (20,000/365).
Forecast of sales volume is based on the assumption that innovative product of the enterprise is to be aimed at solving the problem of deficit of treatment facilities. Estimated dynamic of narrowing of the deficit through introduction of ultraviolet equipment with flux-gate ultraviolet lamps assumes putting into operation of disinfecting facilities with capacity of 810 thousand cubic meters per day till 2010 and production of basic models (ultraviolet utility with capacity of 150 cubic meters per hour) of quantity up to 255 units till 2010.
Development stage: Pilot sample is ready. Electric, radiative, thermal characteristics of working lamps have been evaluated. Innovative potential of the development has been assessed. Feasibility study of setting up a production of flux-gate ultraviolet lamps and construction documentation for producing disinfecting modules have been made.
Requirements of the project:
Needed investments account for 4 million RUR for the period of 2 years for setting up of a pilot production and output of the product.
